Studio Discovery Tour artists During the annual Studio Discovery Tour, local artists from Sea Ranch to Irish Beach open their private studios, providing visitors with the chance to meet the artists in person, see demonstrations, ask questions and purchase original and unique works of art.

Artwork includes paintings, sculptures, jewelry, ceramics, glass art, textiles, photography, iron work, murals and much, much more.

Japanese poetry, music & theater: Blake More will recite her poem, "Notes from a Jazz Geisha, Tokyo," Mariko Kitakubo of Tokyo will perform her own tanka, and Linda Galloway will recite Amelia Fielden's translations. Don McLeod They will be accompanied by Shirley Muramoto on koto and Karl Young on shakuhachi. Renee Owen will read her haibun, accompanied by her husband, Brian Foster, on shakuhachi.

The feature of the evening will be a butoh theater piece composed and danced by Don McLeod, based on the haiku of Basho as translated by Jane Reichhold.
