A new event at Gualala Arts being planned this spring on Saturday, May 23 starting at 5:00 p.m. The
Fine Arts Fair
will be all day Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24, but Saturday evening will have its first special event, Art Off The Wall. Donations for this event are being requested.
Tickets for the Drawing
Everyone purchasing a ticket to this event will come away with a piece of art having a minimum value of $75. Participants will have the assurance of art worth more than the price of the $60 ticket, plus free hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, soft drinks and also an opportunity for a great deal through the live auction.
"Eat, Drink and Auction" tickets
If you would prefer not to participate in the "Art off the Wall" drawing you can purchase a ticket which would allow you to eat, drink and place bids for the auction items. These tickets will cost $30. A couple could buy one ticket of each type.
Extra! Extra!
After the drawing and auction have concluded, ticket-holders of both types can buy remaining items for 50% of the estimated value.

Gualala Arts will need 110 pieces of art valued at more than $75 plus 10 pieces of greater value for the auction. They are looking for art you have made or purchased in the past, have enjoyed, but are ready to donate. There are items of value other than art that can be used for the auction and some suggested ideas are time shares, vacation rentals, dinners for 4, 6 or 8, home décor pieces, airplane or boat rides, or just something unique that only you can donate.
The Art Off The Wall committee - Bruce Jones, Sharon Nickodem, Dave Bower, Karel Metcalf, Jim Grenwelge and Michele Marshall - are asking that the
donation commitment form
be brought in as soon as possible or no later than May 1. Bringing in sooner would be very helpful in planning this new event.
Forms are also available at the Gualala Arts Center or call 707-884-1138 and ask for a form to be mailed to you.
For advance purchase, go to
Brown Paper Tickets
or call them at 800-838-3006.

The number of tickets to this event will be very limited,
