Genny Wilson has been teaching drawing for many years and now is offering a workshop through Gualala Arts. This hands-on class will give you the history, language, and an explanation of the tools of drawing. It will include the study of basic shapes, grey and primary color scale, appropriate lighting, the use of light boxes, image transfer techniques and more. The class is appropriate for all levels from beginners to those artists who would like to improve upon their drawing skills.

About Genny WilsonGenny has extensive training and experience in the arts. She graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts with a double major in Illustration and Fine Art with Distinction. She received a Master of Fine Arts in Medical Illustration from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas. Professionally, she has worked as a medical illustrator for over thirty years, published nationally and internationally, specializing in anatomy and forensics for trials, and the aging of missing children. She has also taught fine art. Her work is in both public and private collections, galleries, and museums.
