Gualala Arts is proud to present Half Full, a new exhibition by Katie Adams. Opening July 10, the show explores both a visual language and a personal shift in perspective—one rooted in choosing to see possibility, satisfaction, and wholeness, even when it might be easier to focus on what’s missing. Adams invites viewers to slow down, notice what is present, and embrace the idea that completion doesn’t always arrive neatly tied together.
Her work is guided by intuition, restraint, and the belief that a painting doesn’t need to explain everything to feel whole. Through suggestion, openness, and feeling, Adams creates space for each piece to breathe, giving these qualities as much weight as detail and finish. The exhibit will be available for viewing through August 2.
