Special PBS Screening – People of the West: Red Power

Following the Native Arts Expo, enjoy a free screening of the new PBS documentary series People of the West, featuring the episode Red Power, which tells the story of the historic Occupation of Alcatraz through Indigenous voices and perspectives. A 30-minute discussion and audience Q&A with members of the production team will follow the film. Free admission.
Presented in partnership with the Native Arts Expo 10, this special screening extends the day’s celebration of Indigenous art, history, and culture by highlighting one of the most influential moments in modern Native American history.
