Participation Requirements
Artwork Submission

- Each artist may submit up to 4 pieces
- Maximum width per piece: 3 feet
Entry Fee

- $35 per artist, payable upon registration
Sales & Commission

- Gualala Arts retains a 30% commission on all artwork sold during the exhibit
Plein Air Certification

- All submitted works must be completed en plein air during the designated paint-out period
- No paintings based on photographs will be accepted
Framing & Presentation

- All artwork must be properly framed and ready to hang
- Sawtooth hangers are acceptable; clip frames are not permitted
Labeling Requirements

- Each piece must include the artist’s name, phone number, and title clearly marked on the back of the frame
Acknowledgment of Risk

- By participating, artists acknowledge the inherent risks of plein air painting, including but not limited to falls, accidents, wildlife encounters, and environmental hazards
- Participation is voluntary, and artists assume full responsibility for their safety
- Artists confirm they do not have any medical or mental conditions that would increase the likelihood of injury during the event
- Gualala Arts is not liable for loss of, or damage to, any artwork or installation, at any point in the process
