Join Drew Fagan for a closing celebration of his exhibit Paintings for a Cause on February 7 from 4–6 pm at the Gualala Arts Center. A no‑host bar will be available, and hors d’oeuvres will be catered for the occasion. Guests may enjoy a 25% discount on all paintings, with proceeds from painting sales benefiting the Independent Coast Observer.

Many of Fagan’s paintings celebrate the Mendonoma area, blending realism with a deep appreciation for the coastal landscape and community. Fagan has a BA in Art from Stanford University and has exhibited in such venues as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and in numerous shows and galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Dallas, Paris, Monaco, Tokyo, Gualala and elsewhere. After a decades-long career in advertising, he began painting full-time in 2004, earning recognition through solo and group shows, juried exhibitions, and numerous awards, including several “Best of Show”. His studio, located just north of Gualala, reflects his ongoing commitment to the arts. Fagan holds memberships in several prestigious organizations, including the National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic, the International Society of Acrylic Painters, Oil Painters of America, and the California Art Club. His work has appeared in American Art Collector and The Artists Magazine, and is held in collections across the U.S., South America, Europe, and Japan. Fagan is making this donation to help keep local news alive and well here on our coast.
