Gualala Arts re-opens the Memorial Mezzanine Gallery.
This bright and airy gallery (upstairs, above the Burnett Gallery and the offices of Gualala Arts,) is an inspiring space often used for workshops. Beginning Friday, May 20 and continuing for the next few months, the Memorial Mezzanine Gallery will also feature beautiful art for sale, all of it offered at a greatly reduced price from its original value. The artwork on display was donated to Gualala Arts Center as a part of its ongoing fundraising efforts to support its core mission: “to promote public interest and participation in the arts.”
There is something for everyone at the gallery, which includes a wide range of art from artists near and far. There are oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, pottery, sculpture, glassware and more, and all of the art is for sale at a significantly reduced price from each piece’s original estimated value. The exhibit will continue through the summer (or until sold out.)
While the Memorial Mezzanine Gallery has been largely unavailable for visitors during the past two years, this reopening of the space to visitors expands the available art offerings, and 100% of the proceeds for the art in this gallery is retained by Gualala Arts to sustain its ongoing programs, workshops and more.
The Memorial Mezzanine Gallery will be open daily during regular business hours, 11 am to 4 pm.
