The Gualala Arts Clay Studio and Friends will present Natural Wonder, a new exhibit celebrating nature-inspired artwork, opening Friday, Oct. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Burnett Gallery at Gualala Arts.

Explore creative works that emerged from moments of curiosity and wonder, and share in the fascination and emotion that nature stirs within us.

Through a variety of mediums, artists capture the essence of wonder, from intricate details to wider perspectives, embodying the desire to connect more deeply to the beauty and mystery of our local landscape.

This exhibition challenges viewers to slow down, look closely, and let the imagination roam free.

Echoing the words of Gwen Frostic:
“On the edge of the bluffs, where the sky begins, you are a part of everything, and all things are a part of you.”

Participating artists include:

  • Kathleen Alexander
  • Bia Gayotto
  • Jane Head
  • Heidi Hyora
  • Monique Risch
