Trio Boho is set to captivate audiences with a unique blend of jazz, Native instruments, and spoken word, featuring acclaimed performers Harrison Goldberg, Kevin Village-Stone, and Tim Mueller. The event will take place on Sunday, May 4 at 4 p.m. at the Gualala Arts Center.
Tickets for this highly anticipated performance are priced at $25 in advance, with a $5 increase on the day of the performance. Tickets can be purchased at Gualala Arts, the Dolphin Gallery, and online at GualalaArts.org.
The genesis of this dynamic trio can be traced back to a serendipitous meeting between Village-Stone, a composer and producer, and local jazz saxophonist Goldberg, orchestrated by their mutual friend, renowned percussionist and instrument maker Andy Graham. This instant camaraderie quickly led to the formation of the trio Chateaux Pax and the creation of their modern jazz album “STOP WAR,” slated for release in 2025. The album, recorded in just two days at the Enmanji Buddhist Temple in Sebastopol, features three songs pre-released on Goldberg’s 2024 compilation “Goldberg’s Variations,” frequently played on The Tide 100.5 FM.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Village-Stone is an accomplished composer and producer for games and film, and the founder of WLM Entertainment Group. His diverse career includes performances on stage, storytelling, and powwow drumming with the Red Voice Singers. His compositions and productions have reached international audiences through radio, television, and games, as well as educational and marketing productions for Fortune 100 companies. Trained in both jazz and classical trumpet since the age of eight, Village-Stone has studied under distinguished musicians such as San Francisco Symphony alumni, Chuck Rainey, John Handy, and Johnny Coppola of the Maynard Ferguson Band.
