Community Events

Gualala Arts Center has been the home of many community events. In a typical year Coleman Hall, or the Elaine Jacob Foyer would be filled with community members coming together for special events. In 2019 and 2020 we’ve had a presentation on mountain lions, a memorial service for one of our volunteers, ongoing discussions from a Taoist perspective, an update on the Redwood Coast Recreation Center and more.

Community Events are an important part of the mission at Gualala Arts, and that includes the opportunity for members of the community to connect. More information on our past Community Events can be found here.

Beginning in March, 2020 with the spread of Covid-19, Gualala Arts was forced to postpone and then cancel all of our live, in-person events, including the balance of our community events for 2020 and 2021. We have, however, carefully re-opened our galleries for viewing and retail sales and hope to return live music and other events to Gualala Arts in the near future. Thank you for your support. YOU make a difference.

Each of our program committees are working to create safe events to a device near you. Check our website for updates, or better yet, sign up for our weekly newsletter, eSketches.

Gualala Arts thanks our supporters for making our community events possible, and for keeping these Online! events happening.
