Tickets are $25 in advance, +$5 day of and are available at Gualala Arts, the Dolphin Gallery and online at GualalaArts.org.  $100 Sponsor tickets with select seating are available online only.

A tribute to revered pianist/composter Bill Evans will be a highlight of the concert.  A favorite coastal guitarist Chris Doering will join this session on a few numbers.

Dick Conte arrived in San Francisco in 1961 from his native Connecticut and has since become an integral part of the Bay Area jazz scene with his encyclopedic knowledge of jazz,  formidable jazz radio presence (from the fabled KJAZ days to present-day KCSM and KKSF),  and his piano performances at clubs, festivals and private venues.  He has played at the San Francisco Jazz Festival, the Russian River Jazz Festival, the San Jose Jazz Festival, the Sonoma Valley Jazz Festival, the Calistoga Jazz & Blues Festival, Jazz on the Hill and the Cotati Jazz Festival.

New York-born composer and pianist Susan Sutton has performed professionally with her trios, recording eight albums. Her passion for music began at age of five, with classical training in piano and cello. She holds a degree in Music Composition and Performance from Dominican University and studied jazz piano and composition with Bryce Rohde of the Australian Jazz Quintet, and jazz piano with George Cables. Her original works include a series of contemporary modern chamber pieces as well as ten published volumes of jazz songs. She is inspired by influences from Thelonious Monk, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock to Erik Satie, George Gershwin and World Beat.

Join us for an enchanting evening of jazz at Gualala Arts!
