Gualala Arts, in collaboration with Fred Adler, is excited to announce an evening of jazz featuring the iconic compositions of Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, and contemporary works by Erik Jekabson as a part of Gualala Arts’ Whale & Jazz series. The performance will showcase the talents of Erik Jekabson on trumpet, Robert Jackson on piano, Pierre Archain on bass, and Gabe Yanez on drums. Additionally the 2024 Festival Youth Discovery, 17-year-old violist, Lucy Khadder, of Alameda will also be performing along with local talent Chris Doering of the Sea Ranch.
The concert is scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 4 pm, set to take place in the iconic setting of the Gualala Art Coleman Hall. Tickets are priced at $25 if purchased in advance, with an additional $5 charge for purchases made on the day of the concert. Advance tickets can be acquired at Gualala Arts, the Dolphin Gallery, and online at GualalaArts.org. For those wishing to further support the arts, $100 Sponsor Tickets holders will receive select seating and are available for online purchase.
