Fred Adler and Gualala Arts Presents “An Evening of George Gershwin and More” featuring Neil Fontano piano, Robby Elfman clarinet/tenor sax/flute, Randy Vincent  guitar, Pierre Archain bass and Gabe Yanez drums offering a repertoire that will capture the essence of Gershwin’s genius.

George Gershwin! The name itself conjures up magic in many people’s minds.
George and older brother lyricist Ira collaborated during the 1920-30’s on many beloved masterpieces.

This unique concert will present a piano/clarinet version of “Rhapsody in Blue,”
“Three Preludes,” and many of the Gershwin standards such as “Summertime” from Porgy and Bess, and “S’wonderful” from An American in Paris.

As a special bonus treat, Karl Young on Japanese shakuhachi flute and Tim Mueller on guitar will collaborate on standards by Cole Porter and George Gershwin.

Co-producer and director Fred Adler will narrate throughout the performance.

This first-class ensemble will be playing on Saturday, June 8 at 4 pm.  Tickets are $25 in advance, +$5 day of and are available at Gualala Arts, the Dolphin Gallery and online at GualalaArts.org.  $100 Sponsor Tickets with select seating are available online only.
