Celebrate Mother’s Day with CoastSing and their Mother’s Day Tea & Concert featuring Alma Llanera, Soul of a Plainswoman. Enjoy a selection of songs by American composers and arrangers, chosen by the singers themselves, as well as a special song dedicated to mothers, composed by the director, Sue Bohlin.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 12 at 4 pm. Tickets are $25 in advance, +$5 at the door and are available at the Dolphin Gallery, Gualala Arts and online at GualalaArts.org
About Sue Bohlin, Director, is a well known musician in the SF Bay Area and outer counties. She has worked with numerous arts organizations, schools, instrumental & choral groups as collaborative accompanist, pianist, conductor, composer, arranger, theatre music director, vocal coach, adjudicator, festival organizer, and music educator. She has toured to more than 30 countries and her own choral music has been heard in several concerts and music festivals in the United States and abroad. Ms. Bohlin was honored in Oct. 2023 by being placed in the Congressional Record for her outstanding service in the field of choral music, associated with her 39 years of work with the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir.
