It is that time of year again and Gualala Arts is hosting our annual Christmas Tree Decorating Competition. Everyone is welcome to participate: children, adults, merchants, groups, etc. This is a fun way to support Gualala Arts, all trees will be sold at silent auction as a fundraiser. So get out your hot glue guns and stencils, we cannot wait to see what you come up with!
In addition to our annual Christmas Tree Decorating Competition, we are also inviting businesses to donate a gift certificate, gift basket, rare or valuable item to our Silent Action.

Info, Dates & Important Stuff for Christmas Tree Decorating Competition
Contact the front desk, 707.884.1138 at Gualala Arts to arrange pickup for a Christmas tree to decorate, a variety of sizes are available. Entry forms due by pickup of blank trees. First come first serve or you can provide your own.
All trees and Silent Auction items should be received at Gualala Arts either Sunday or Monday, November 19 or 20, noon –2pm in the Jacob Foyer. Check-in at the front desk to register your tree.
All decorated trees will be considered donations to the Gualala Arts and will be made available for sale during the festival as part of the fund development. The tree designer will receive a donation form for tax purposes.
We expect most of the trees and Silent Auction items to be exhibited on white pedestals or set upon tables to be viewed from all sides. Please keep this in mind when decorating your tree or arranging gift baskets.
1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Award, winners receive a Gualala Arts VIP package and cash valued at $150, $75 & $50 plus bragging rights.
Gualala Arts would like to invite businesses to donate a gift certifcate, gift basket or rare or valuable item to the Festival of Trees Silent Auction.

Who doesn’t love something sweet, especially during the holidays! Remember Grandma’s sweet rolls, Daddy’s fudge, Aunt Joyce’s cinnamon yum yums, Uncle Ray’s Passion Punch? Let’s all enjoy your favorite tasty treat! How better to share the spirit of the season than offering up a seasonal specialty to share. You don’t need to be a ‘Mrs.” to enter the contest, everyone is welcome to participate; children, adults, merchants, groups, etc.
Submit your registration form describing your sweet treat by November 20, 2023 to Gualala Arts so a presentation card can be created for your goodies. Please be sure to indicate specifics (gluten free, vegan, no nuts, sugar free, etc.)
All Bake Shop contributions should be received at Gualala Arts Center by Wednesday, November 22 between 9 to 11 am.
All baked good / treats will be considered donations to Gualala Arts and will be made available for sale during the festival as part of the fund development. The baker / maker will receive a donation form for tax purposes.
We kindly ask that the baked goods /treats be provided on disposable plates or platters, they will then be set upon tables to be viewed and sold, first come, first serve.
