“Have Nikon, Will Travel” is a collection of the best of Scott Sewell’s travel photography over the last decade. His extensive travels have taken his landscape eye to Antarctica, Argentina, Mexico, Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Hungary and Spain. It also has taken him throughout the West and to Alaska, Canada and Hawaii looking for scenery that suits his vision.

He has gotten “out there” in the great outdoors with his camera and invites the viewer to do the same.

Scott Sewell is an award-winning landscape photographer who specializes in California Coastal, High Sierra and travel photography.  A former IT professional, he is an adept user of the digital darkroom and sells a wide range of metal and canvas prints which offer a spectacular presentation of his landscape photography in both Black and White and color.

Mr. Sewell is a member of Coast Highway Artists Collective in Point Arena, CA and Gualala Arts Center, the largest art organization on the Mendocino Coast. Over the last few years, he has shown at Mendocino Coast Photographer’s Gallery in Fort Bragg, at Coast Highway Gallery and 215 Main in Point Arena and conceived and curated a four-person show (The Thought behind the Shot) at Gualala Arts with three of his fellow Mendocino Coast photographers in July of 2021.

He has won seven awards for his photography in judged exhibitions.  Several of his images were selected for the Point Arena Merchants Association Visitor’s Brochure.  His “Late Afternoon Traffic” image of Point Arena hangs behind the council dais at City Hall. His work is on sale at Point Arena Lighthouse, Matson Mercantile in Elk, Coast Highway Artists Collective in Point Arena, Rendezvous Mendocino in Gualala, at Hunewill Ranch in Bridgeport and whenever he exhibits at Gualala Arts. His complete portfolio and online store are on the web at ScottSewellPhotography.com.

Mr. Sewell’s studio is in Fort Bragg, CA but he splits his time between the Mendocino Coast, the Sierra Nevada, Southern California and international travel. He is frequently accompanied by his wife, June, an attorney, indispensable photography consultant and the love of his life.
