The Greatest Show

A new theater event is scheduled for early next year that will bring together amateur and professional performers for a delightful experience. Gualala Arts Theater announces a casting call for “The Greatest Show! Musical Revue,” for performances in February and March 2024. Auditions will take place Sunday, August 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Monday, August 28 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Gualala Arts’ Coleman Hall.

Musical theater is filled with great music and memories. Consider a short list of classic and new shows that have excited Broadway theater goers, and tours that have thrilled audiences in theaters across America. Shows like “Brigadoon,” “Hamilton,” “Showboat,” “South Pacific,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Fiddler On The Roof,” “Rent” and so many more.  Performances have been scheduled for February 23, 24, 25, and March 1, 2, 3, 2024.

The auditions are open to all, whether you enjoy performing in front of the audience or prefer working behind the scenes. They’ll be welcoming singers, rappers, dancers, musicians, actors, stagehands, costumers, hair stylists, techies and more. The August auditions and the February performances will be produced and directed by local favorites Teo Ariola, Bryn Harris and Sita Milchev. Keyboard extraordinaire Don Krieger is the Music Director and is available to accompany you for your audition, or you can have your own accompanist, accompany yourself, or sing a cappella.
