Gualala Arts and the Pacific Piecemakers Quilt Guild present a new workshop titled “Ocean Art Quilt”. Quilters are invited to join in the design and creation of their own ocean-inspired quilt. This is a one-day workshop with instructor Gwen Weedon, set for Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Register at EventBrite.com.
During this workshop, each participant will design and create a 20” x 30” wall hanging using a selection of fabrics of 22” width strips in various ocean colors, including sky, water, waves, sand, and more. Weedon adds, “You will learn to cut wavy strips and sew them together to create a beautiful Ocean Art Quilt”!
Gwen Weedon is an enthusiastic teacher with superb leadership and communication skills. She easily cultivates trusting and productive relationships with students, guides each student with individual attention, directing them into learning a new technique to add to their creative designs. Given Weedon’s years of experience and practical direction, those attending can expect to a complete a quilt that can be top in class.
