MENDOCINO DANCE PROJECT PRESENTS:
PHASES
Mendocino Dance Project’s most recent work, PHASES, is a dynamic duet that explores themes related to life during this strange and unusual time. PHASES is focused around joy, frustration, humor, isolation, and a sort of settling into a new way of living. The past two years have divided us and brought us together in unexpected ways and this show is an offering to this collective experience that we have shared.
Choreographed and danced by: Kara Starkweather and Natalie Thiel
Lighting: Skye Nickell
Sound: Dale Cohn
Tickets are available at Gualala Arts, Dolphin Gallery, and online at EventBrite.com
Mendocino Dance Project is a dynamic and athletic dance company on the Mendocino Coast that creates dances inside theaters and in outside spaces, on and off the ground. We are committed to helping art thrive in small, rural communities, bringing inspired and original work to local and regional audiences, and providing opportunities for people to participate and engage in the arts. The sense of place and the connection to the local environment guides the art-making and the programming that we offer. Visit mendocinodanceproject.com to learn more about the company.
