The Gualala Arts Chamber Music Series brings three brilliant musicians to the outdoor stage this month. Trio Celeste has been hailed by the press as “a first-class ensemble,” and “unfailingly stylish,” “technically dazzling,” “flawless,” and “the epitome of what chamber musicians should be”. The group has firmly established itself as one of the most dynamic chamber music ensembles on the classical music scene today. The trio is set to perform at JAMI Amphitheater at Gualala Arts on Sunday, October 10, beginning at 2:00pm. Tickets are $25 at Gualala Arts, The Dolphin Gallery and online at EventBrite.com.

Trio Celeste is violinist Iryna Krechkovsky, cellist Ross Gasworth and pianist Kevin Kwan Loucks. The ensemble was inspired to take its name after their very first meeting in New York City, where a rare celestial occurrence—the largest harvest moon in two decades—marked the beginning of their tenure together.

Prize-winning violinist Iryna Krechkovsky enjoys an international career as soloist, chamber music collaborator, educator, and arts executive. Celebrated for her tone, emotionality, and precision, she has performed in concert venues from Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City, to The American Church in Paris, Chicago Cultural Center, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Born in Ukraine, Krechkovsky attended the Cleveland Institute of Music and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Stony Brook University in New York

Cellist Ross Gasworth has performed in iconic venues around the world, and is a go-to musician for soundtrack recordings and mainstream artists like Elton John, Ariana Grande, Barbra Streisand, Adele, Herb Alpert, and Neil Young. Gasworth began playing the cello at age three. He earned his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studied with Richard Aaron and Stephen Geber. A committed educator, Gasworth has served on the faculty of the University of North Texas, the UC-Irvine, and currently serves on the Pre-College faculty of Chamber Music | OC.
Pianist Kevin Kwan Loucks enjoys a multifaceted career as international concert artist, educator, and arts entrepreneur. He has been described as “impeccable” and “a pianist of exhilarating polish, unity and engagement.” As a collaborative artist, Kevin Kwan Loucks has appeared in recitals with Rachel Barton Pine, Colin Carr, Paul Coletti, Robert deMaine, Karen Dreyfus, Eugene Drucker, Kyung Sun Lee, and Carol Wincenc. Loucks has performed hundreds of recitals throughout North America, Europe, and Asia with his wife, violinist Iryna Krechkovsky, as part of the award-winning Krechkovsky/Loucks Duo. Loucks is a graduate of The Juilliard School in New York City.
