Jeanette is a Judy Niemeyer Certified Instructor and an award-winning quilter. Quilting is in her DNA. Both her grandmother and mother were hand quilters. In 2008, she took a class with Judy Niemeyer, worked on the Amazon Star and has been a Judy Groupie ever since. After training with Judy for several years, she was certified to teach Quiltworx patterns in 2014.
In addition to teaching at local quilt shops and guilds, Jeanette enjoys teaching with Quilt Seminars at Sea, the Houston Quilt Festival, and Empty Spools Seminars at Asilomar. Her biggest reward is the satisfaction of seeing amazing works of art from beginning students who previously had said, “I could never do that.”
