My career as a professional art director and wine label graphic designer translated easily into the fine arts, searching for hidden colors, abstract forms from nature, and developing textures from plants onto fabrics, paper and ceramics.
For the last 10 years, I have been teaching workshops in the newest techniques in botanical printing and modern Shibori in Sonoma, with workshops in 2020 at the Gualala Art Center. These workshops are for the beginner as well as providing inspiration to the advanced fiber artists.
