Gualala Arts is happy to once again be participating in the Mendocino County “Almost Fringe Festival,” loosely based on the International Fringe Art Movement. This month-long festival during April is a celebration of all the creative happenings countywide, from traditional to cutting edge and artsy to agrarian. Come enjoy art in the springtime with wine, waves and wilderness!
Perhaps you just spent the weekend hitting the nearby golf links as part of the Point Arena High School Boosters Golf Tournament or you are just enjoying a weekend on our beautiful Mendocino Coast. Whatever your activities, Gualala Arts Center offers a quiet respite as part of the Mendocino Fringe Festival offerings.
Before you get back on the road, enjoy a vitamin-charged recovery juice cocktail while touring the gardens and exhibits, walk the Haiku path, sit quietly in the Meditation Grove, or just enjoy the the outdoor art and grounds beneath our redwood canopy.
Two exhibits are featured this weekend: “Brushstrokes, Tradition with a Contemporary Flair” by Artist Andrea Allen, and “Visual Vocabulary – Text in Art and Images in Script” by North Coast Artists’ Guild.
Come on by, take a load off, put your feet up on a redwood stump and enjoy a nicely chilled, vitamin-infused juice cocktail that will leave you energized and ready for the next round!
