Is 1946 your birth year? If so, you and your friends and family are invited to the Gualala Arts Center for a shared 70th Birthday Celebration Dinner.
Gualala Arts is delighted to embrace this wonderful community tradition by offering to provide this dinner free of charge to any person born in 1946. In addition to friends and family, this celebration is also open to any community guests that would like join in the festivities.
The 70th Birthday Celebration began with a group back in 1998, and is one of the legacies of Rosemarie Hocker. It has continued almost every year since.
Many find that friendships are made and/or renewed during the evening. A happy consequence is a strengthened bond with our community.
Celebrants are request to bring a few items for the Memory Table. A 2′ x 3′ space will be reserved for each celebrant to exhibit photos, memorabilia and items of interest from their lives. Each celebrant will be offered a few minutes during the program to share about themselves
Dinner includes appetizers, entrée, side dishes, dessert, non-alcoholic beverages and coffee. No Host wine bar will be open.
Early reservations for celebrants, their friends and family and community guests are requested by October 24th along with $30 advance admission for non-celebrants. After October 24th, admission for non-celebrants will be $40, and day of attendance will be based on meal and space availability.
Contact Susan at (707) 884-1138 or drop by the Arts Center to make your reservations by October 24th. Proceeds after expenses benefit Gualala Arts.
And to others who are not celebrants but would like to volunteer as hosts, waiters or chefs, we would love to have you. Please contact:
