Lecture, tea tasting, author signing and book sales.
World-renowned tea expert James Norwood Pratt will be signing copies of his book “Tea Lover’s Treasury,” the first serious tea book written in English since the 1930s. Pratt, who lives in San Francisco with his wife, Valerie, is likely the world’s most widely read authority on tea and tea lore today.
Born and raised in North Carolina on his family’s land acquired before the American Revolution, Pratt moved to San Francisco and wrote his first book about California Wine. In 1982 he published the now classic “Tea Lover’s Treasury.” He continues to regularly update his tea Treasury, serving the cause of tea around the world.
