This workshop will explore the infinite possibilities of creating beautiful art with a medium that Jane has spent many years working with. The combination of colored Venetian plaster and acrylic glazes sets it apart from standard painting practices.
Jane has been teaching this class at Gualala Arts for a number of years and her students enjoy the fun and playfulness of experimenting and discovering their creativity, using unusual painting implements!!
About the Instructor
Jane emigrated to the U.S. after spending the first 21 years of her life in England. Her background is in art and education, though she attended Alsager College of Education in pursuit of a teaching credential she never taught and saved thousands of children from years of therapy!
Jane was self-employed as a muralist, and faux finisher for 30 years in the greater Bay Area.
Now she enjoys spending her time painting, faux finishing and instructing students in clay and her own medium, Venetian plaster.
