Gualala Arts Gallery at the Dolphin is located at 39114 Ocean Drive, Gualala, in the Cypress Village center. The phone is 707-884-3896. The Dolphin will re-open to the public on July 4 at 11 am for the opening of a new exhibit.
The Dolphin is open Thursday through Monday (closed Tuesday & Wednesday), with regular hours of 11 am to 4 pm.
We are extending hours on opening day of the exhibit to 7 pm, usually the first Saturday of the month (no artist receptions due to Covid). In July the Dolphin is featuring the art of Ling-Yen Jones and Barbara Kelley.
The Dolphin, staffed entirely by volunteers, features art and fine crafts by local artists and those in the extended coastal communities of Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. These artists frequently serve as volunteers at the gallery. The inventory changes regularly, and each month the Gallery presents exhibits of work by local artists who are members of Gualala Arts. Visitors to Gualala return to the Dolphin time after time to enjoy the shopping experience and see the new exhibits.
The Dolphin also serves as a Sea Ranch / Gualala area Visitor Center where visitors can obtain information about our coastal communities, such as where to find other art galleries, where to go horseback riding or rent kayaks, and where to find restaurants and accommodations.
For more information, see upcoming exhibits at the Dolphin Gallery.
The Dolphin has always represented the best of local art. If you are interested in showing your work at the Dolphin please email the Dolphin Exhibit Committee a link to your work and/or send images to review. Gualala Arts Dolphin Gallery is a members gallery requiring membership to Gualala Arts. For information on joining Gualala Arts please visit the “join Gualala Arts” page.
