Quilts are not just for the bedroom anymore. Gualala Arts is hosting a workshop taught by Kalynn Oleson that will show you how to create a glorious jacket. This loose fitting jacket's foundation is a sweatshirt. Then using border, theme prints or coordinating quarters from your stash you'll be able to complete this stylish jacket. Add a bit of free motion stitching, metallic thread and or beads and you'll have a really glorious jacket.

The Gualala Arts Center, located at 46501 Old State Highway in Gualala, CA,
is open weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and weekends from noon to 4:00 p.m.
