Theme Tree Decorating Workshops

Help decorate some of the fabulous trees to be auctioned at the Festival of Trees, and learn to create your own "theme" tree for five weeks in the upstairs classroom at Gualala Arts Center. Participants are encouraged to attend the entire first class, and then may choose additional sessions as desired.

Week 1: Monday, October 16
Decorating like a Pro, Theme Trees and Coordinating Décor
      AM session: The Basics; Tools of the Trade; Getting Started
      PM session: Crafting Unique Ornaments; One Step at a Time; Finishing Touches

Week 2: Monday, October 23
Rustic & Country Trees
      AM session: Home for the Holidays, Pure country fun!
      PM session: Nature's Bounty, Natural décor, but with a plus!

Week 3: Monday, October 30
Elegant & Regal Trees
      AM session: Victorian Visions: in three styles, Country, Romance, Elegance
      PM session: Glitter & Glitz: European Old World & Contemporary Chic

Week 4: Monday, November 6
Trees for Children
      AM session: Toyland Treasures: Family fun, Trees for households with toddlers (or active pets!)
      PM session: Special Kids' Themes: Nutcracker Suite, Sports & Leisure, Southwest Celebration

Week 5: Monday, November 13
Fantasy Trees: Special trees, settings or occasions
      AM session: Winterland (The Wedding Tree), Neptune, Celestial, Sugarplum
      PM session: Coastal Country: create a theme tree from found items
