The Ernest Bloch Bell Ringers*<\/p>\n

The Ernest Bloch Bell Ringers will present their annual Holiday for the Coast concert on Saturday, December 14 at 3:00 p.m. in the Coleman Auditorium of the Gualala Arts Center.<\/p>\n

This concert is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. The concert opens with \u201cRepeat the Sounding Joy.\u201d A favorite perennial is \u201cCarol of the Bells.\u201d A hauntingly beautiful arrangement of \u201cA Midnight Clear\u201d will be performed. Talented local musicians will join the bell ringers. Dan Laux will play the hammered dulcimer on \u201cWhat Child is This?\u201d Cyndy Solomon and Mary Visher will play a recorder duet on \u201cLo, How a Rose E\u2019re Blooming,\u201d and Karl Young joins the bell ringers with his shakuhachi on \u201cStar of Wonder.\u201d<\/p>\n

Singing is always a part of our bell ringers\u2019 concerts. You won\u2019t want to miss hearing Remi Alexander singing \u201cI Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus\u201d and Sita Milchev singing the lovely \u201cI Wonder as I Wander.\u201d Sita will be joined by Cassy Grossman performing Handel\u2019s \u201cFor Unto Us a Child is Born.\u201d The audience will be invited to join the bells in singing \u201cWinter Wonderland\u201d led by Cinnamon Rippey and Linda Bostwick, \u201cSilver Bells\u201d led by Remi, \u201cAngels We Have Heard on High,\u201d and the traditional closing piece, \u201cSilent Night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another highlight to brighten spirits will be the first-time appearance of the mother\/daughter duo,\u00a0 Micheline and Khai Kirby, who will be performing the narrated \u201cTwinkle and the Bethlehem Star.\u201d<\/p>\n
