This basic picture taking class is designed for a point and shoot digital photographer.
We will uncover the mysteries of your camera with many questions and answers to help you identify all the camera buttons and options. What they mean and how to use them to better your photography. Topics of discussion; how to control your flash, macro-shots (close-ups), control your focus as well as composition.
Learn your camera and enjoy a fun day of photography at the Gualala Arts Center.
About the Instructor
Instructor John Howry, Certified Photographic Counselor, has been involved in photography for over thirty years. He is manager of Shutterbug Camera Shops in Santa Rosa and also oversees the Photography classes and workshops.
With his role as class instructor, John loves helping others to achieve a better understanding of photography and their photo gear. John is passionate about photography as well as his teaching.
