This class is intended for those newer quilters who now have a collection of
blocks or unfinished projects and need to know how and what to do with them.
Each session is only half day long, so sewing machines will not be needed but participants are welcome to set their machines up in the classroom. The structure of the classes allows participants to attend all or just one or more sessions.
Kalynn Oleson
I have been sewing since I don't remember when, but was drawn into quilting about 15 years ago. I have found quilting a great creative outlet for my love of fabric and color. I belong to three guilds and each one has had it's own set of teachers and mentors that have helped me stretch my talents in my quilt journey. I now want to pass my quilting knowledge and passion along to someone new to this wonderful circle of quilting, both the art and the people that you will meet in your journey.
Jan Carter
Jan has been sewing all her life, and quilting for the past 6-7 years. She is a former president of PPQG, and she co-taught the beginning class. One of her quilts was accepted into an exhibit seen at quilt shows in Houston, LA, and Chicago, and a photo of it was published in a book about quilting. Jan loves just about everything having to do with quilting. In her spare time she fondles fabric.
