About the instructor
De has 15 years experience with Tie Dye and has taken her show on the road to summer camps, family reunions and company retreats. Tie Dye is an interesting art form that lends itself to everything from t-shirts to bed linens.
De began exploring Tie Dye as an adult, while creating an arts and crafts program at summer camp. It was here that she was inspired to create a portable dye studio. She has taught Tie Dye through Community College classes, shared the craft with residents of drug treatment programs, children in the juvenile court system and continues to attend summer camps. Through her volunteer work she became known as "De Tie Dye Lady." That is the name she uses on her
Facebook page.
