Even if you have little or no experience in photography, you'll find the process of making Polaroid image transfers to be simple and fun... and you'll come away with some beautiful fine art pieces worthy of display or giving as gifts.
Polaroid image transfer is the process of prematurely peeling apart a Polacolor print, discarding the positive and transferring the negative onto a non-photographic surface called a receptor sheet. This creates a subtly textured 3"x4" image reminiscent of an ancient fresco with an ethereal quality that transcends the ordinary photograph.
We'll spend Day 1 making transfers. On Day 2, we'll scan your favorite transfers, format them in Photoshop and print them on beautiful art paper to create unique greeting cards, booklets and/or fine art prints.
You'll take home your original artwork, as many projects as you have time to complete, and digital scans from which you can make as many additional copies as you like.
