in the grassy field in back of the Gualala Hotel. This is sure to give the atmosphere of a crafts village fair. There will be over twenty artist booths, with a variety of products.
Some of the participating artists showing jewelry will be Cheri Snyder, Linda Reno, Carol Bernau, Simone River, Tony Faye, Brenda Adelman, Gregorio Pehrson and the ever popular Walt Rush.
Jean Brown will be showing lapidary products. Mike Hanson and Meris Emory will have their glass pieces. You will have a choice of photographers between Tom Eckles, Kent Weymouth and Jeanne Gadol, who also shows digital art.
Ceramic lovers can browse between booths of Geoff Graham, Shizuko and Toshi Shichishima, Jan Maria Chiappa and Nancy Morgan. Mosaics are represented by Carol Norick. Woodwork will be shown by Paul Maurer and Ray Wolf. Leather bags and belts by Michael Barney.
It's always fun to see what new quilts and pillows Donna Bishop will be showing. Jack Norick will be showing his paintings. Shirley Degerlund comes from Cazadero with her glycerine soaps and Joye Bolling from Sebastopol with her soaps.
Wanessa Nemer will have a choice of arts and crafts. Those looking for something different should drop by Harry Hostetter's booth for bonsai and Japanese viewing stones.
It's a great family fun day. The Summer Saturday Art Fest is a great way to kick off your summer and maybe even get a little early Christmas shopping done!
