Artist members of Art Center Ukiah will explore what it means to be "inland," asking their artists to create new, innovative work that goes beyond the concepts and ideas explored in their previous work, and that speaks to an inland perspective rather than the coastal viewpoint.
Artists will be asked to expand their vision by incorporating the written work, and by considering both the internal meanings, and external influences that contribute to the inland experience. Art Center Ukiah expects to present a very personal and varied show in various media, as well as showing wood, metal, ceramics and fabric.
