3rd Annual
Gualala Arts Auto Show
Saturday, July 16, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Gualala Arts Center
If you are car enthusiasts and love the nostalgia of old cars, you'll love the Gualala Arts Auto Show.
Located on the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Gualala Arts Center, this is a car show you can actually stroll through, talk to the owners and appreciate each car, truck or motorcycle for the piece of art it is.
Best of Show in 2010 was Michael and Erica Umphenour's 1932 Ford Three-Window Coupe, remembered as sweet eye candy. Best motorcycle was won by Gary Greenowgh with a never-to-be-forgotten 1996 Harley Kiss-Tribute, but getting here is the dream road for Ducati owners and everyone who loves wind in their hair.
There are eleven classes plus display only, entries include the oldies, the very creative and some great new models you might not have seen. There is even a prize for longest distance traveled as people come from all over California to enjoy the sparkling ocean drive set off by the mystery of the redwood forests. This auto show was extremely well received last year and once again street rod buffs will fill Highway 1 for the run to Gualala. The event promises to become a permanent "happening."
This free admission show opens at 10:00 a.m. for the public and closes at 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided for purchase on the grounds from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Beverages (wine, beer, soft) are available all day. The awards ceremony is at 3:30 p.m. There is a People's Choice award, so come prepared to cheer your choice.

Rhythm Drivers
The Rhythm Drivers are a popular bay area blues and vintage rock band
that feature the soulful lead singer and harmonica player Brad Wilson
plus the dynamic guitarist Johnny "Tsunami."
This dynamic duo plus an
excellent rhythm section of David French on bass and Steve DuBois on
drums will create a fervor of dancers as they conjure up their high energy music.
They've been featured at "Biscuits and Blues" in San Francisco plus other popular
venues and festivals and have wowed and entertained crowds since 2004
but their passion for the music goes back to the 1950s.
What a combo, vintage blues and rock with vintage autos!
