Gualala Arts Center will host Dinner at Six with special Russian fare to highlight the Russian presence on the Sonoma Coast.
Presentations by Fort Ross staff and members of the Kashaya and Russian communities to highlight various aspects of Fort Ross State Historic Park, as part of the Fort Ross Bicentennial Commemoration.
Enjoy the tradition of the Kashaya's, Russian and Alaskans foods.
The Kashaya community will offer acorn bread bits with salt as a welcoming tradition.
The entrée will be roasted pig prepared by the Kashaya community.
The Dinner at Six group will prepare poached salmon and vegetables.
The appetizer will be traditional foods served.
There will be two soups, Borsch and Shchi.
Dessert will be Pumpkin pudding, Kasha and Kissel (warmed berries with sweetened grains) and Russian tea cakes.
$25 donation per person.
This event is part of the Fort Ross Bicentennial celebration.
