Gualala Arts is gearing up for the third Art Off the Wall party. This unique event has been very successful raising funds for the Arts Center and providing a festive evening of great food plus the excitement of waiting for your number to be drawn so you can choose either your favorite piece of art or a donated fun experience (such as one of last year's favorites, a mushroom walk and champagne breakfast with Jeanne and Rick Jackson).
Tickets for the Event
There are two levels of tickets for the event. $30 pays for the reception, including food and beverages. The $70 ticket includes the reception, plus a guarantee that you will leave with an item worth at least $75, that you select when your name is drawn. Once all the numbers have been drawn, the remaining items will be sold for half the valued price, which stimulates a frenzy of buying! To purchase in person, visit the Gualala Arts Center or the Dolphin Gallery. You may
purchase tickets online
or by calling 800-838-3006.
In addition, this year, all attendees will receive a raffle ticket at the door that makes you eligible for a drawing of super prizes!
Where does the Art (and more) for Art Off the Wall come from?
To make this event a success, we need your donations. Gualala Arts will need at least 110 pieces of art or non-art items valued at more than $75. The committee is looking for art you have created or purchased in the past, but are now ready to donate. Also popular are items of value that only you can offer, such as dinners, vacation rentals, jewelry, entertainment, etc. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
We're making the donation process easier for you to participate in this year:
Step 1: Call Karen Tracy at the Arts Center (707-884-1138) and make a verbal commitment before May 8. She will ask for your name, phone number, a brief description of item and its value.
Step 2: Bring your donation to the Arts Center on May 9, between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., along with the completed
Donation Form.
There is a section in the Donation Form to describe your donation and tell us about its history. We know every piece we collect has a story to tell, which will make it even more interesting to potential new owners.
The donations will be on display at the Arts Center for a week before the event, so everyone can pick their favorites in preparation for the festivities!
If you have any questions about the event or the donation process, please contact Karen Tracy at the Arts Center, 707-884-1138.

Fine Arts Fair May 28 & 39
This same weekend Gualala Arts will host a
Fine Arts Fair
at the Gualala Arts Center May 28 & 29, Memorial Day weekend from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Fine Arts Fair grew out of the very popular Summer Saturday Art Festivals and based on numerous requests from patrons and artists alike, it was decided to transform the SSAF into a multi-day event. Artist spaces will be tastefully scattered along the periphery of the 15,000 sq. ft. Gualala Arts Center. In addition to selling work covering a wide variety of artistic media, several artists will be "in action," demonstrating the creation of their craft during the festival. Entrance is free.
