Celebration of Life: Roy Little
Sunday, September 28, 2008
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
at the Gualala Arts Center
This last May, the world lost a talented artist. On
Sunday, September 28, Gualala Arts will host a fitting
tribute to Roy Little: family man, friend, and master
craftsman.
Roy's unique blend of realism and elegance in the
medium of stained glass is truly inspiring. Though Roy's
talent attracted many strong reviews and recognition
from all circles, his favorite compliment was a client
telling him his piece "belonged" in their room.
An exceptional artist, Roy's talent may only be
overshadowed by his gentle soul. It was his loving,
endearing, (and "slightly mischievous") spirit that
touched those fortunate enough to know him.
This open house event is open to all. Come enjoy fine
food and drink, appreciate the work of a brilliant artist
and craftsman, and be entertained by stories and insights
by those who knew Roy best. An opportunity will be
available for those who wish to contribute to Gualala
Arts in Roy's name. Come out and honor a man who
touched the world with his hands, and his heart.
The Gualala Arts Center, located at 46501 Old State Highway in Gualala, CA,
is open weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and weekends from noon to 4:00 p.m.
