Festival of Nine Lessons
with the Anchor Bay Childrens Choir

The service follows the form in which it has been offered each year since 1919 on Christmas Eve at King's College Chapel, Cambridge, England. Instrumental accompaniments for this evening's service will include: The Coast Recorder Consort, The Anchor Bay Children's Choirs. It will also include David McCarroll, violinist; Sita Milchev, vocalist; and Don Krieger, synthesizer/ keyboard.
Participating clergy and lay readers represent Mary Star of the Sea and St Aloysius Catholic Churches, of Gualala and Point Arena; Light of the Coast - Science of Mind Center, Gualala; St. Paul's Community United Methodist Church, Point Arena; Starcross Community, Annapolis; Shepherd of the Sea Episcopal Lutheran Mission, Gualala.
The seating at the Gualala Arts Center is limited and this service has traditionally drawn a standing room only congregation. Please plan to arrive in plenty of time to arrive before the opening candlelit processional begins at 4:00 p.m.
Some previous publicity has included a different beginning time. Please pass the word into the wider communities that the Sunday afternoon Christmas Eve Service will indeed begin at 4:00 p.m. this year! Rev.
