La Crema

La Crema logo La Crema grapes La Crema was founded in 1979 and quickly established itself as a pioneer for intensely flavored Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the cool Sonoma Coast.

Continuing this tradition, La Crema pursues the ultimate expression of the Russian River Valley, Carneros and Anderson Valley by handcrafting wines of distinctive flavor which achieve elegance and balance.

As a specialist in Burgundian varietals, La Crema handcrafts ultra-premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as a limited amount of varietal-specific wines.

  • The Appellation Series showcases the distinct character of four of the finest appellations for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah; Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Carneros and Anderson Valley.

  • The prestigious Nine Barrel offers the aficionado the opportunity to enjoy the very finest, most distinctive Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of the vintage.

Winemaking Style

La Crema's location in the Russian River Valley is ideal for producing wines of uncompromising elegance and balance. To achieve this goal, several unique steps take place in getting fruit from the vineyards to the bottle.

It begins in the vineyard, where careful canopy management and hand harvesting assure fully ripe, undamaged grapes are brought to the winery.

At the winery, artisan winemaking techniques result in handcrafted wines of distinctive flavor, elegance and balance.
