Memoir Writing For those of us wanting to write the stories of our lives, this class is the place.

We'll write and discuss our work in class workshop fashion, learning about the art and craft of memoir writing, of personal voice, and the language and style tricks used by masters. But mostly, we'll enjoy the ongoing process of creating, revising, and editing non-fiction, beginning with memories begging to be recorded, and ending with sculpted, refined stories, we and/or the world will read with awe.

About the Instructor

Ida Rae Egli was raised in Mendocino County and taught English and Creative Writing at Santa Rosa Junior College and was department chair there for many years. She is presently finishing a novel about women in World War II Greece. She lives at The Sea Ranch.
