Quilting, with Mary Austin and Janet Sears This class is a follow up to the beginning quilting class and is for quilters who have a beginning knowledge of block construction, including cutting and sewing.

The class will cover angled piecing for construction of 8-pointed stars and Baby Blocks; Log Cabin blocks, stressing color and value choice; assembly-line piecing; curved piecing; and foundation piecing. The course covers the techniques needed to complete blocks in almost any pattern. Some of the classes will be demonstrations; others will be hands on.

The class is limited to 10 students. You may sign up for all six sessions. If there is room, drop-ins will be welcome for individual sessions.



The Gualala Arts Center, located at 46501 Old State Highway in Gualala, CA,
is open weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and weekends from noon to 4:00 p.m.
