Local Eyes present: Gualala Arts Chorus: Holiday Concert Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Gualala Arts Center

The Gualala Arts Chorus, under the direction of Renata Yardumian, will present holiday concerts in both Gualala and Point Arena. The Gualala Arts Chorus is the successor to South Coast Community Choir which has performed annual holiday concerts for more than two decades.

The Chorus will perform Thursday, December 18, 7:00 p.m. at the Gualala Arts Center in Gualala. Admission is $10 in advance or $5 more day of performance. Ages 7 to 17 are free. Advance tickets are available at the Gualala Arts Center and the Dolphin Gallery in downtown Gualala.

The Gualala Arts Chorus will present a concert of music from the Renaissance, including early works from Italy, England, France, Spain and Sweden. A half hour of special music based on period instruments will be presented before the concert.

"Gualala Arts Christmas Chorus" is presented as part of the Gualala Arts Local Eyes program.

The Gualala Arts Center, located at 46501 Gualala Road in Gualala, CA,
is open weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and weekends from noon to 4:00 p.m.
