The Fabulous Blendos magic troupe are coming to the south Mendocino Coast with "There's Magic in the Air" - a unique family event of magic, illusions, juggling, comedy, music, and dazzling costumes and colorful props. In development for over a year, "There's Magic..." represents the efforts of more than 30 dedicated people. This show features some new mind-boggling illusions and many new tricks, along with a few Blendo "classics" and all new music.

"Our goal is quite simple," said Robert Goleman, magician and creator of The Fabulous Blendos, "Magic is an art form that reaches all ages and cultures, and has throughout history. With "There's Magic in the Air!", we hope to share something extraordinary and highly entertaining; providing a family-unifying experience that people will remember for years to come."

The magic troupe is under the creative leadership of Robert Goleman as The Magician, with the delightful comedic talents of Sandy Glickfeld as The Lovely Assistant, the truly amazing Beejay Joyer as The Juggler, Kristen Williams as the Loveliest Assistant and Richard Cooper as the Band Leader. You'll leave this show humming and tappin' your feet to some of your favorite melodies from the 30s and 40s, as well as Broadway, all artfully arranged and directed by the talented Gayle Caldwell. Other featured artists include Ana Lucas, Gary Dixon, Garet Waterhouse and Ron Smith as The Announcer. With over 150 years of combined stage experience, this all-star cast is under the direction of Sandra Hawthorne, who is well known to audiences for her impeccable directing and acting skills, in countless Mendocino theatrical productions - bringing a certain grace and elegance to the productions she touches.

This performance will be March 11, 7:30 at Gualala Arts Center. Tickets are $25 or $15 for youth 17 and under. Fort Bragg sold out their first three shows, added a new one, and it also sold out.
