Please join Lynne and Jim Edwards on January 24, 7:30 pm, at Gualala Arts Center as they share their experiences and photographs of a recent trip to the Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu.

They spent nine days on a 100-foot boat exploring 11 of the 15 Galapagos Islands. As you will see, each island has its own uniqueness in plant and animal life. Lynne and Jim then ventured to Peru, spending time in the city of Cuzco, exploring and learning about Machu Picchu.

Jim and Lynne have been full-time residents of Sea Ranch for the past three years and they own a local business in Gualala, Artsea Gallery and Framing. They have been coming to the Mendocino Coast for over 20 years and always knew they would retire here. They love to travel, but truly enjoy coming back home to this beautiful coast.

The Edwards take trips that allow them to be in the presence of nature and various wildlife. They have followed the polar bears of Churchill; the orcas and humpbacks of the Inside Passage; the brown bears of Katmai, the incredible wildlife of Africa; and the fabulous population of birds and wildlife right here on our own Mendocino Coast. Lynne is an avid wildlife photographer, while Jim enjoys capturing the moments on video. So together they are able to tell a story about their travels and share in a way that allows other people to re-live their travels with them. You will enjoy seeing still photographs of their trip to South America and a DVD that captures the incredible wildlife of sea lions, birds, iguanas, giant tortoises, and the mystic landscape of Machu Picchu.

Please join Jim and Lynne for this incredible visit back in time - to the Galapagos Islands where the animals are uninhibited by humans and to where the Inca Emperors are said to have lived in the mystical mountains of Machu Picchu.
