Linda Hirschhorn Please join Linda Hirschhorn and the Gualala Arts Community Choir, starring students from Linda's Sing In Harmony - A Concert Starring You workshop, for an evening of story and song.

The choir will sing English, Hebrew and Ladino songs that celebrate the blessings of life and the struggle for peace and justice for all people.

Linda will also regale us with her original songs and stories that tackle love, family dynamics and moments of transition, all sprinkled with appropriate doses of anxiety and humor.

The music in two, three and four part harmonies, ranges from the simple to the complex to satisfy and challenge inexperienced and experienced singers alike.

Linda Hirschhorn Singing in harmony is about individuals coming together to build and deepen connections. It's about blending, listening and helping others without losing your own voice. It's the perfect paradigm for living together in community.

Linda is a performing singer / songwriter / composer and story-teller. She travels around the country working with or creating community choruses.

She has released 10 recordings of original songs and published hundreds of songs that have been covered by other artists, used in movies, choreographed by dance companies and sung in synagogues throughout the world.

Linda has been the Cantor at Temple Beth Sholom in San Leandro for since 1987. Her women's a cappella ensemble celebrated its 25th anniversary in November of 2012.

More information on Linda can be found at her website www.lindahirschhorn.com.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $5 more on the day of the performance. Youth 7 to 17 are admitted free. For advance purchase, see below. To purchase in person, visit the Gualala Arts Center or Dolphin Gallery in Gualala.
