Gualala Arts Book Club

The Gualala Book Club, an associate of the Gualala Arts Center, has been meeting for over a decade to read and discuss books. The members volunteer to take turns hosting or leading a book discussion.

The books are recommended by club members and voted upon by the entire group each six months. Books chosen are usually on a major book award, although books on the short list are also considered. Books from major book reviews, classics, and local authors are all possible nominees. Members choose one book a month and then offer two different times to join a discussion group (the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and the third Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m.)
